Team USA Eliminated from FIFA World Cup!!!

Hate to say I told ya so but after watching the USA Soccer Team play in the qualifying tournament I mentioned to my colleague the IceJacker that I didn't see enough skill and or talent on the USA Soccer Team.  I thought they lacked a real star presence.  Landon Donovan is a great player but he isn't the type that could take over a game.  We needed a Pele, Maradona, Ronaldo or Ronaldinho type of player that can not be stopped.

Much respect goes out to the USA soccer team for fighting hard before losing in extra-time 2-1 to Ghana in their final game of the 2010 FIFA World Cup Tournament.  Ghana was the same team that eliminated the USA Team in the last World Cup back in 2006.  Team USA seemed to show a lack of focus giving up goals in the early minutes of games before improving their efforts late in games.

Although it was a disappointing loss I think team USA will come on stronger in the next FIFA World Cup but we will have to wait until 2014 to see if that happens.  Now we can get back to some real sports talk; The Lebron Watch!
